I want to give a huge shout out to the owners of King Gyros. They're the nicest people and have amazingggggggggggg food and their kiddos are the sweetest . Every single time we've been here the kiddos have been helping them around the place . Today we visited and the kiddos were outside playing in the snow having a great time laughing and smiling. If you've not been here lately please do so and support this amazing family .....

I don't get to Shelbyville often but the "Best Catfish in Town/State/Midwest" on the marquee has always intrigued me. I didn't get the catfish but instead got a Chicago classic; Italian beef and sausage with hot peppers, dipped. I can't say enough good things about this place. My sandwich was great and exactly like I ordered. I've had Italian beef in Chicago that wasn't this good. The people were super friendly and helpful and the food came out very quickly. With this quality of food and service I don't know why this isn't the busiest place in Shelbyville. I'll definitely be back and probably pretty often even though it is an hours drive.

Don’t let the outside fool you it’s definitely not long John silvers anymore. The lady that is here is so kind and always has great referrals on the food, but I just can’t get past the Gyro or the Gyro salad but today was St. Patrick’s Day and I thought you know every time I’m in town I go to this place so I’ll just get a little snack and maybe get some corn beef later (only to find out there’s no Irish pubs in Shelbyville ) Anyway I just had a discussion with my friend that there was nowhere to go get good mozzarella sticks. Most places seem to cook the cheese out of them but this place had five big sticks full of a very tasty cheese and some marinara that was really good as well. I was surprised they even had them, but they do have a diverse menu and if you eat inside, you can even get refills. The food is always fresh and the atmosphere is very clean.

We recently went to King Gyros for take out. They were super friendly and even offered some samples of food at the drive through window. Food was fresh and delicious. Will be back again!

Stopped in for a gyro and ended up getting the lamb over rice with medium spice. It was incredible food, and even better customer service. 5/5 I would recommend this place!

This was my first time coming here since the new management, and I have to say I'm VERY happy with it! The chicken over rice was a great recommendation from the staff (I got the spicy, and yeah, it's spicy!). The staff was very friendly, the food was ready quickly, and it is so so tasty. Can't wait to try some of the other stuff on the menu!
